Chincoteague Seafood is a family-owned business started by Bernard Ruben in 1955. It operates its own fishing fleet that plies the waters off New Jersey through Virginia. It processes their daily catch in its two processing plants in Atlantic and Chincoteague, Virginia, next to the rich shellfish ground well known for its crabs, oyster beds, and clam shoals.
