Idahoan Mashed Potatoes

Idahoan was founded in 1960 in Idaho, with the goal to produce the best tasting instant mashed potatoes. In their first year, with only 50 employees, Idahoan managed to produce five million pounds of dehydrated potatoes.

In 1990, Idahoan developed “a proprietary, innovative dehydration process that better preserves natural potato taste and texture.” With this process in place, it launched its famous line of flavoured mashed potatoes in a pouch that has become a pantry staple. Today, Idahoan is the world’s leading producer of dehydrated potatoes.
